Coinbase:

Twice a year, the Bitcoin Cash (BCH) network hard forks as part of scheduled protocol upgrades. The next BCH hard fork is scheduled for Nov 15, 2018, and Coinbase is prepared to support the published roadmap from bitcoincash.org.

However, unlike previous BCH hard forks, there is a competing proposal that is not compatible with this published roadmap. Coinbase will monitor the hard fork process and work to minimize customer disruption until the network meets Coinbase security standards. We will pause sends and receives on the BCH wallets at Coinbase.com, in our iOS and Android apps, and at Coinbase Pro and Prime beginning at 8:00AM PST on 11/15/2018 (approximately 1 hour before the fork). Please be sure all BCH sends and receives are completed prior to that time. During the pause, your BCH will remain safely at Coinbase.

We will monitor the Bitcoin Cash network during the upgrade. Coinbase cannot predict the duration of this upgrade process. When the upgrade is complete, we will evaluate the network and take appropriate next steps, including re-enabling sends and receives. We will update our customers throughout the upgrade process and about the outcome of the fork once the network reaches consensus. In the unlikely event that multiple viable chains persist after the fork, Coinbase will ensure that customers have access to their funds on each chain.

Bittrex:

Bitcoin Cash [BCH] will be undergoing a network protocol upgrade on November 15, 2018 at approximately 8:40am PT (4:40pm UTC) via the Bitcoin ABC full node implementation.

Bitcoin SV [BSV] is a proposed fork of Bitcoin Cash [BCH] scheduled to occur on November 15, 2018 at approximately 8:40am PT (4:40pm UTC) via the Bitcoin SV full node implementation.

Bitcoin SV is considered a “contentious” hard fork which may result in a chain split. There is also no replay protection present so Bittrex must undertake extra measures to ensure that in the event of a chain split, user tokens are preserved on both chains. There may be delays in Bitcoin Cash deposits and withdrawals for some time due to these extra measures.

To provide the best experience for our customers, Bittrex will take all reasonable steps to ensure that customer funds can be preserved on both chains. Bittrex will make all reasonable attempts to credit our users BSV chain split tokens. We will not recover incorrectly made cross chain deposits under any circumstance due to the lack of replay protection.

Bittrex will close deposits and withdrawals of Bitcoin Cash on November 14, 2018 at 10am PT (6pm UTC), the day prior to the BCH on-exchange snapshot. If any BCH deposits you had sent to Bittrex are not settled (e.g. marked as pending) by November 14, 2018 at 10am PT (6pm UTC) you will not be credited with BSV chain split tokens. The wallet will remain closed until the hard fork block is complete and it is deemed safe to open. Trading will remain active during this time.

If you have a Bitcoin Cash (BCH) balance on Bittrex during the BCH on-exchange snapshot around November 15, 2018 at 8:40am PT (4:40pm UTC), you will be additionally credited the equivalent amount of BSV chain split tokens on a 1:1 basis. i.e. 1 BCH on Bittrex held during the on-exchange snapshot will get you 1 chain split token. BCH held on orders will also be credited. Only the BCH held on your account is eligible for chain split tokens. The Bittrex BCH on-exchange snapshot completion will be Tweeted from the @BittrexExchange Twitter account.
